这句话是意译的In........日夏养花网...or sea 是宾语,concerned是谓语动词.可以看出本句没有主语,而位于用ed形式,结合上下文或常识应添上主语人们.我就知道这些,希望有帮助.

concerned是“相关的”的意思，相当于我们中文平时说的“有关部门”中的“有关
在这里是过去分词作后置定语修饰前面的the ocean or sea

算定语后置的吧，语法什么的不太记得了，正常的语序是：
from one part towards another concerned part of the ocean or sea.
从一片海域流向相关的（特定的）另一片海域

这句话主语不是To the extent... 后面的it才是整句话的主语，to the extent...只是状语。
你把前半句跟后半句调换一下顺序，就容易理解多了。
这里的it想必指代的是某种数据records或者statistics，楼主需要注意它并不是什么形式主语，而是有实意的指代词。肯定是与前文相关联的。
It should at least indicate how all the natural causes of climate change have combined to the extent that the coverage of the global climate from these records can provide a measure of its true variability.
它至少应该指明... so... （to the extent that 表达的是一种目的，直译就是“到了…的程度以至于…”）
用中文不好解释，但是这里的to the extent that 完全可以用 in order that 代替。LZ自己试读一下，应该能理解了吧。

1 to the extent 在这里是“程度状语”，表达事物进行的程度。从that到its true variability是extent的同位语，这个同位语用来说明这个extent. the coverage是这个同位语的主语。

2 介词短语在英语中是不可以做主语的。

注意，介词短语当然不能作主语，这句话的主语是It, 纸袋的是the coverage of the global climate from these records

1选A，in the beginning可以单独使用，而at the beginning后面需加of，不能单独使用

2选D，look for意思是寻找，而find out是找出，查明的意思，根据语境，选D

3选A，因为cost是动词，worth是形容词，有“值…的；价值…的”意思，按照语境就是选worth.而valued和valuable虽然是形容词，但用法不对。

4选B，be trained with sth 用。。。对待某人，这里是让某人服药的意思

5选B，固定短语in sympathy with 和...一致

6选A，as though意思是“好像”，此句的意思是我的感冒好像变好了

我用最简洁的语言来答题吧,先说明准确率基本没问题.

2,错了,应该选C find out查明,这里没有词义,look for为寻找的过程,而此题要的是结果,A项错误,所以选C,find ____做了多遍,信任我没错
3,A先把BC排除(很明显错),主要看valuable和worth的区别:同时当形容词时VALUABLE又强调贵重,珍贵, 通常是指物质金钱方面的; 而WORTH主要强调价值
4,错了,应该选cC be traine with sth 用。。。对待某人这里是让某人服药的意思
5,B in sympathy with 同情; 赞成; 和...一致
6,A是as through相当as if是虚拟过去时,表以表示当前不真实、不大可能或有疑问的事情,D,feel about固定搭配表示摸索
7,call it a day固定搭配决定一天工作停滞
8,B 可以轻而易举看的ACD不对,句意不通
9,错了应该是C go on a holiday: 继续过假期（中间可能因为其他事被打断）；
go for a holiday : 去过假期,此题为将来时用go for a holiday
10,A carry out进行, 实现, 贯彻, 执行
work out 想出; 制订出; 产生出......剩下的我不用解释了
