我来说的容易懂些吧。

1。在一般句型中，单数用Is,复数用Are。但是以后你会学到如虚拟从句
等句型，那么会有所不同，我就不讲了，不然你老师不是没事情做拉。

2。YOU本来就与be动词are搭配（be动词：is am are)，过去时自然用
were。而I与am 搭配，其他的都与is搭配。

3。这个就比较烦了。
疑问句是由陈述句变过来的，这样从陈述句理解起来较容易。
那么把这句话变为陈述句就是:David usually XX after school.（XX随便是什么动作都可以）
现在我们来把它变为疑问句。首先我们是对XX提问，所以用WHAT，然后陈述句变为疑问句的格式就是把助动词提前，而这里的助动词就是dose所以就是What does David usually do after school了。
不要问为什么这么变，就好比‘你好’就是‘你好’而不是‘好你’，有些东西是语言规则，我们记忆就行了！！www.rixia.cc！

1.可数名词的复数形式在句子中用are,不可数名词用is.

2."you"在一般现代式中用are,are的过去式的were,所以在过去式中和"you"有关的B动词就用were.

3.因为后面有个do所以前面是第三人称单数就用does.

do是这句话的动词，does是助动词，英语的句子基本有两种：主谓宾或主系表。
I am a student.这句是“主系表”结构，I 是主语，am 是系动词，a student是表语（或者叫主语补语）
I visited my friends last nigtht. 这是“主谓宾”结构，I是主语，visit是谓语，my friends是宾语，last night是状语。

这个问题应该是初一解决的，第二人称：也就是“你”应该用are，如You are a good boy.

3.What does David usually do after school? 此处的does是助动词，由于句子后面已经有动词，就不能再用系动词is.

1.一般现在时态中，可数名词的复数形式在句子中用are,不可数名词\可数名词单数用is.
但是you 后面固定用are(were)

3．第三句是一般现在时的特殊疑问句
一般现在时疑问句的助动词一般用 do/dose／is/are 都可以，这里主要依据该句子的实意动词，问大卫（人名）放学后经常干什么，问句中的实意动词是”干什么”，那么我们一般用do…表示做什么，那么这里我们就用助动词do,因为主语大卫是单三人称，所以在这里要用dose
在这个句子里面，第一个dose（do）是没有实际意义，只是个助动词，而第二个do是实意动词，表示“做/干”的意思，两者是完全不同的

注意一点，be动词和实意动词的原形不会同时出现在一个简单句中

2.为什么过去式中,单数要用Were?
如:你去年在哪? 为:Where were you last year?而不是:Where was you last year?
这个不是单数的问题,是人称问题.在一般现在时中,我们用you are而在一般过去时中我们用was代替is 和 am 的位置,就是:I am a student.(I was a student some years ago),用were代替are的位置,所以这句就这么说:Where were you last year?而非Where was you last year?

3.问大卫（人名）放学后经常干什么．是这样说吗：What does David usually do after school?里面的does为何不用is?
你的一般现在时学的不扎实.这句话你可以变成陈述句考虑,比如:David放学后通常看电视.我们可以说:David usually watches TV after school.注意这里watch变化成了watches,是因为David是一个第三人称单数,所以动词要变化成三单形式(通常是在后面加s,以ch,sh,s,x,o结尾的加es,以y结尾的,y前为辅音的变y为i再加es)watch这个词是以ch结尾的,所以变成watches.那在David usually watches TV after school这句话里有没有"be"(am,is,are)这个词呢?没有.所以,在没有be的情况下,我们一般用助动词do来代替.可以这样说,把这句话变成否定形式: David usually does not watch TV after school.(这里注意does 和 watch变化了,因为do是助动词,即:既然人家帮助你了,你这句中的唯一"特殊"地--三单形式需要先给人家用,就是把原来的do变成了does,那么watch的es就没有了,也就是还原了)再把这句变成一般疑问句(一般疑问句都是把be提前,此问中没有be,就用助动词do来代替,又因为主语是三单形式,所以do变does)即:Does David watch TV after school?变成特殊疑问句用What提问,就是:What does David do after school?了,明白了没?
