In such circumstances, China's catering industry has received the momentum for rapid growth, however; the market competition becomes more and more fierce. Thus, catering companies have started to pay more and more attentions to build their brands and corporate images, since to maintain this growing potential became one primary task. Undoutably, these activities have accelerated the research and development of branding theories and strategics in China.

In this paper, a case study for HaiDiLao Hotpot was comprehensively investigated and discussed. Their branding strategy, corporate image recognition, brand extension strategy and multi-brand strategy were analyzed and derived. The conclusions could be used to complete the theoretical foundation and practical cases which contribute to the development in the catering industry.
